6th NAMA National Conference

NAMA will host its 6th National Conference from the 12th – 14th October 2022. The event is aimed at assembling industry role-players to engage on key topics of relevance to everyone in the business of Community Scheme Management. The Conference provides a forum for learning, networking and relationship building.

NAMA is a voluntary, non-profit organisation that promotes and advances Community Scheme Property Management in South Africa and the common interests of those engaged in the business of Community Scheme Management.

To nurture the growth of the industry and meet the challenges of an ever-changing environment in which managing agents operate, it has become necessary to adequately train professionals to effectively manage community schemes. NAMA is in the process of registering as a professional body and creating a profession which will benefit the industry by ensuring that individuals will have a certain level of knowledge and skills specific to their role. This will lift industry standards and enhance service levels thereby ensuring consumer and industry protection.

NAMA is represented in 7 Regions (EC, KZN, WC, FS, GE, GN and GW with its head office in Pretoria and more than 500 members in the following categories:

    • Corporate Members (Managing Agents)
    • Regional Service Providers (Service Providers to the industry such as Attorneys, Plumbers, Accountants, etc.)
    • National Service Providers (Service Providers who are represented Nationally)
    • Community Scheme Members
